am told the kente stole you selected is named “Fathi Fata
Nkrumah”. I was not
provided with much explanation regarding the cloth.
In all honesty I chose this stole to market because I liked
it and it reminded me of my own full cloth. I
do know Nkrumah was the first revered leader of Ghana after its
independence in 1957. He and subsequent heads of states really
marketed kente as a national identity.
Today kente is pretty much associated with Ghana alone
despite the weavers living in Togo and the Ivory Coast.
The colors used in your stole are dominant and hence more
likely to be found in a male cloth. I have heard the zigzag design can either symbolize

the Ghanaians dislike for snakes, which is understandable because
they have many very dangerous snakes in their country, I think most
would prefer the design to be associated with lightening and hence
Individual orders of this stole cost $25, which includes shipping and handling via "normal" postal service within the USA and the $3 toward our scholarships and business loans in Ghana. If you need express delivery, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 415.260.7006
Typically I only carry between 0-10 stoles at one time. However, these can be ordered and supplied very quickly
A full cloth can be woven in a couple of months time and would cost approximately $500 plus any applicable taxes, shipping, and handling all of which would be charged at cost. Half of the total would be necessary to start the weaving. This is a special order so if interested contact me by clicking here or, if that does not open up a pre-addressed email message, send a email message with the following subject: "Kentesource - Ashanti3 full cloth" at email@example.com.
